Before you buy
What exactly do I get?
A hyperlinked PDF planner covering a full year: a year at a glance, twelve month spreads, every week, and a page for every day. Both orientations are included either way. A classic edition comes as four files per orientation, covering Sunday and Monday week starts in US and UK regional formats. A made-to-order edition is built to the week start and format you choose. A short START HERE guide and the free 20-piece Elements starter come with both.
Which apps does it work with?
GoodNotes, Notability, and any app that annotates PDFs, including Noteshelf, Samsung Notes and Xodo on Android tablets. The links are tappable when your app is in its read-only viewing mode. Switch back to writing and the page behaves like paper.
Do I need an iPad?
No, but it's designed for one. Pages are sized for the 11-inch iPad, so they fill the screen with essentially no letterboxing. On 4:3 iPads and on Android tablets you'll see a slim margin around the page. Everything still works: it just sits inside a little more space.
Is it an instant download?
The six classic editions are instant downloads: the files are attached to the listing and arrive the moment you order.
The made-to-order edition is different. It's built after you order, because a personalized file doesn't exist until then. Please allow one to three business days. How that works.
Sunday or Monday? US or International?
Both, and both. Every classic edition includes all four combinations, so this isn't a choice you can get wrong at checkout. Open the file that matches your habit and ignore the others.
It changes more than the date order. US writes January 1, 2026 and runs a 12-hour clock, so the schedule reads 7 AM. International writes 1 January 2026 and runs a 24-hour clock, so the same line reads 07:00. Neither prints a currency mark, so the spending rows on the Life pages suit any country.
Which year is this for?
Each edition is its own listing, with its own dates and its own links, so the year and the start month are set by the listing you buy from. The shop shows the editions currently available.
Can I print it?
It prints, but it's built for tablets. Pages are 10 by 7.1 inches in landscape rather than US Letter, so a printed page will be scaled or margined by your printer.
Customizing and personalizing
What's the difference between customizing and personalizing?
Customizing changes the pages. You choose the day layout, the week layout, the week start and the regional format, and I build those pages rather than the classic ones. How that works.
Personalizing puts your name on it. On the cover, on the About This Planner page, and along the edge of every day page. How that works.
They're separate. You can have either one on its own, or both. Both are made to order and take 1 to 3 business days; the ready-made classic editions have neither and download instantly.
Can I choose a different day or week page?
Yes, by customizing. There are seven day layouts and six week layouts, and any day layout works with any week layout. The ready-made classic editions ship with the classic day and week pages. See all thirteen.
Where does my name appear?
In three places, all of them quiet: on the cover beneath the product name, on the About This Planner page just after it, and as a small signature along the edge of every day page. The name is limited to twenty characters, and the two optional lines share sixty characters between them, so the cover lockup and the day-page signature stay legible.
I made a typo in my personalization.
Message me. Your name is the one thing you type rather than pick from a menu, so it's the one thing that can carry a typo into the file. A rebuild only costs me a few minutes, and I'd much rather you had it right.
Do I have to buy stickers?
No. The Daybook is complete on its own, and the 20-piece Elements starter comes free with every planner in case you want them. The full collection exists for people who like working with labels and trackers, not because the planner needs it. See Elements.
After you buy
How do I get it into my app?
Unzip the download, then import the PDF you want as a document in your annotation app. The START HERE guide that comes with your planner explains which file is which and how the links work.
Can I get a refund?
Digital downloads can't be returned once they've been delivered, which is standard for files. That said, if a file won't open, a page is wrong, or a name is misspelled, write to me and I'll fix it. Problems with the product are mine to solve.
What happens at the end of the year?
The file stays yours. Each year is its own edition, with its own dates and links, so a new year means a new file. Keep the old one as a record, or clear your work and use the pages again.
Can I use it for my business, or share it?
The license is for personal use. Please don't resell, redistribute, or share the files. If you want to give one as a gift, buy a copy for them and I'll build it in their name.
